mylife Diabetes Care moves into new headquarters in Burgdorf
Building on more than 40 years of experience in pioneering diabetes technologies, mylife Diabetes Care now operates as an independent company, owned by Willy Michel, focused entirely on advancing innovative solutions for insulin delivery. With the move into its new headquarters in Burgdorf, the company reinforces not only its regional roots but also its role as a European-based innovative insulin pump leader.
says Sébastien Delarive, CEO of mylife Diabetes Care.
Sustainability and workplace design
The new headquarters in Burgdorf offers approximately 5,000 m² of total floor space and workplaces for up to 400 employees. Designed for long-term efficiency and comfort, the building features a heat pump system, a photovoltaic (PV) installation for renewable energy generation, and an intelligent system that controls heating, ventilation, and power flows for optimal energy performance.
Strong roots, global reach
Around 350 employees across two sites in Burgdorf develop and manufacture new diabetes technologies that are marketed globally. The company is proud to contribute to the dynamic Swiss medtech sector and to the professional and residential attractiveness of the Burgdorf–Bern region.
With close to 800 employees worldwide, mylife builds on its established mylife Diabetes Care portfolio and underscores its long-standing commitment to connecting medical devices with digital technologies – empowering people with diabetes to gain more freedom through better control, at every stage of life.
The renaming of affiliated companies will be implemented gradually across all relevant markets and entities. For customers, partners, and healthcare professionals, services and access points remain unchanged.
