We have taken both technical and organisational measures in order to observe data protection regulations.
Personal data includes information, which can be directly or indirectly related to you or other persons. This includes names or addresses, for instance. It does not include information that cannot be directly related to specific persons.
Our Internet service can basically be used without disclosing personal data. In connection with your access to our web pages, however, data is stored on our servers for back-up purposes that may permit inference of specific or specifiable persons (e.g. IP address, date, time and sites visited). We use this data only in a non-personalised form.
In order to analyse the use of and constantly improve our Internet service we statistically analyse the "hits" on our web pages. The data gathered this way is, however, anonymous and does not relate to specific or specifiable users.
Users have the option to order information brochures and/or sample needles via our Internet service. Whenever you place an order, we need to collect personal data before we can process the order. This data is only processed and saved to the extent necessary for order processing (see below regarding passing on of personal data). You will be asked to execute an explicit declaration of consent when completing the respective form.
Only those authorised persons, who are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of our offerings are permitted to access data stored at YPSOMED Ltd.
Your data shall not be used to create user profiles of any kind.
Passing on of personal data to third parties
We do not routinely pass on personal data to third parties. In particular, data is not passed on to third parties for promotional purposes. When processing orders, it may be necessary to transfer personal data to third parties, e.g. for shipping. Such transfers of data are strictly limited to the processing of orders. Data shall not be forwarded to third parties for any other reason.
Insofar as we are required by law or official or judicial decree, we shall forward data to the authorities entitled to request information in each case.
Entitlement to information and deletion
You can demand that we disclose what information we have stored about you.
If you have sent us personal data, you may have this deleted by written or telephone request, if we no longer need these for permitted purposes, such as billing and accounting purposes.
