mylife Softlance - Lancet system
The mylife™ Softlance™ lancing device is a reusable lancing device for a single user. It can automatically inject the lancet into and retract it from the fingertip to obtain capillary blood samples for glucose monitoring or other tests that require one or two drops of blood. An adjustable cap allows the user to set the correct depth of skin penetration.
Special features
- Special safety design: When the cap is open, the trigger will be disengaged automatically, preventing accidental needle pricking in case the release button is pressed before you are ready.
- Lancet eject function: Press the release button with one hand and pull on the plunger with the other. This will safely eject the used lancet and prevent you from being pricked when the cap is open (see figure 10).
- Less painful pricking: The precise and vibration-free lancet guidance system ensures that you feel less pain when a blood sample is taken.
- Correct spring force: Allows user to pull on the plunger for easier pricking.
- Clear indication of penetration depth: Allows user to easily adjust the skin prick depth to ensure correct sample volume.
- Special transparent cap for alternative site testing on palm or forearm.
