mylife Pura & mylife Pura X with HDST technology
Technology for high measuring accuracy and precision
Study confirms high measuring accuracy
For blood glucose self-monitoring as part of diabetes therapy, high measuring accuracy of the meter is of the essence. This is where mylife Pura is setting new standards. In a prospectively designed comparative study, the measuring accuracy of five well-established blood glucose meters was tested in comparison with a reference laboratory method.
Range <4.2mmol/L
mylife Pura proved to be superior to all comparable devices in reference to the defined evaluation criteria, and particularly in the measurement range <4.2mmol/L.

Range ≥4.2mmol/L
With blood glucose values ≥4.2mmol/L, measurements using mylife Pura more frequently fell within the target of ±15% of the reference lab result than with any of the comparable devices.

mylife Pura with HD signal transmission
Short signal paths permit interference-free transmission of the signal. Gold is the most corrosion-resistant of all established conductive materials, ensuring optimal signal transmission from test strip to measuring device (1 Signal path, 2 Gold contacts).

With conventional test strips where blood is applied from the front, the signal path is significantly longer and thus more vulnerable to interference. Also, the contacts between measuring device and test strip are made from conventional metal, which will corrode faster, thus impacting the signal and leading to less accurate measurements.
